Yeah. I guess that's true. That's definitely a good way to look at it.

People make friends here. And some of the homes they have to go back to sound shitty.

But... well, I guess we'll cross that bridge when it gets to it, like, it's not like anyone has actually found a way out of here that everyone can use.

Yeah, I guess that's true. None of this is really up to us, at least not right now.

I know it's something we SHOULD be keeping in the back of our minds... but honestly, so much else keeps happening.

Maybe that's part of why they do it. Can't plot too much to break out or to stop them if we're too busy fighting to stay alive -- or trying to lick our wounds afterwards.

Somehow I think that's exactly it. But I know there are plenty of people where half this stuff means nothing to them.

I guess so. Maybe they just -- don't want to have to process it. I don't know. I could never really think like that.

That I can understand too. Lots of people will be hurt if this whole thing becomes an "either-or" situation and it's either "stay dreaming" or "wake everyone up." There are going to be serious repercussions no matter the decision we all come to.

Yeah. Even if we pick and choose for ourselves only, it's not any easy choice. People have ties here, ties that are just as real as the ones back home.

It is if you have a very specific duty to do back home.

I think there are still a lot of people who'll have trouble making the choice, though.

I mean, to some degree it's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, then you wouldn't have made any close connections here, right? So it's almost a good thing it hurts, it proves how much you cared.

I guess. It just sucks because there's nothing that this place doesn't turn into some sort of gut-wrenching torture, you know?
