I admit, I thought about trying to get you to. But I also knew you could probably have gotten away from me before I got too far with that. And I hoped I was being too paranoid, anyway.

None of us are saints. Not in this place. Best we can do is try for the next best thing.

As much as I wish to say it would have helped, I admit that I also know Varian got loose.
My illusions might have tricked the staff just long enough.
I'm not sure if it would have worked, but I wish I tried.
This place was hell bent on us having it out.

Qrow's promised he's going to sit on my shoulder if something like this happens agin.
I'm not going to argue with that.
